Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Reports to: Program Manager & Operations Manager
Summary
Maintains a Safety-First Focus. Coordinates and manages logistics for a crane and rigging service company regionally based in Amarillo, TX. Manages logistics of cranes and supporting equipment.
Qualifications
-
Must have a current state issued Driver's License, with a CDL Class A preferred.

2 years of crane, rigging and commercial driving experience preferred.
Skills and Experience Requirements

Experienced in dispatch and/or logistics management, with preferred experience in crane dispatch

Knowledge of DOT oversized/overweight permitting preferred

Strong customer service skills

Strong organizational skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed

Able to use phone, computer, and other office equipment

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledge in ‘Fleet Cost and Care Nexgen’ resource management software preferred
Essential Functions
-
Receive and coordinate customer requests via various forms of communications (i.e. phone, email, text, etc.)

Keep records, logs, and schedules of all calls made and/or received and transmit relevant information to operations personnel and management

Select crane configurations, equipment requirements, and draft customer quotes for management review

Develop daily schedules and resource assignments to be reviewed by management

Communicate daily schedules, assignments, and job details to field staff

Obtain and ensure compliance with all applicable permits, escorts, nudum, road closures, and any other ancillary approvals from governing bodies for scheduled work

Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of cranes and support equipment to job sites

Communicate to management potential resource/scheduling conflicts as they arise and provide solutions

In real time, schedule and dispatch required resources to meet customer requests

Monitor status and routes of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule

Communicate and coordinate with Service Manager regarding equipment availability, breakdowns, and scheduled preventative maintenance

Manage and review for accuracy field tickets/crane hour submissions for each job

Assist with generation of customer requested job documentation
